Countries of the euro, torn on the path of growth and the cost of austerity, are virtually unanimous on Greece. All institutions and capital combined, the pressure is on Athens and a government may be found, but already called upon to choose between honoring its commitments and the abandonment of the euro.

The hypothesis of a rupture between Greece and the common currency had found adherents in late summer 2011 at the height of the dealings between the former Papandreou government and its creditors. After two years of bailouts and broken promises, the scenario is no longer taboo. But never before EU officials had protested as loudly as the "Grexit," as they say in the markets, could be, after all, the least bad solution.

Usually consensus, the Commission president Jose Manuel Barroso, opened fire ensuring that "better" than Greece leaves the club money if it does not follow the law. Olli Rehn, his right arm, drives the point home by explaining that the eurozone is now better positioned to absorb the impact. Clearly, Athens would have no means of blackmail with its creditors. For the euro area, the Commissioner insists, "there is no way" to ease the second recovery plan, agreed in March.

In terms of capital, the German Wolfgang Schaeuble wanted to give the "A". The euro area, he said, "can support an output of Greece." And the ECB, two governors abound. If Athens does not say, "there is more reason to support it financially," Jens Weidmann advance, also head of the Bundesbank. From Ireland, a country itself on life support, his colleague Patrick Honohan said that Greece "is ipso facto recover money from the block" if it renounced the word. A set of targeted preceding the appointment of the Eurogroup, on Monday evening in Brussels.

Facade of unity

The message is more political than financial: it is to bring the Greeks – mostly attached to the single currency, according to polls – to withhold their support for extremists and to open their eyes to the illusions that make the soft budget compatible with the euro. Nothing says that this move will lead to the desired result. There is no guarantee that an outflow of Greece would benefit its partners, beyond the political failure it would spend for the common currency and the EU as a whole. Council President Van Rompuy, more nuanced, notes that "the solution to the crisis is growing in Europe."

The puzzle Greek allows at least a facade of unity with leaders of the common currency. At the Eurogroup, two other cases may show otherwise divided, at least undecided: first, how to behave with respect to Spain, apparently unable to meet the target of a budget deficit reduced 3% in 2013, then a game of musical chairs constantly postponed at the head of financial institutions of the EU. Are concerned at least four sensitive positions: President of the Eurogroup (for which the German Wolfgang Schäuble is a candidate), the general direction of the new permanent emergency fund SS, a position at the ECB Executive Board and, finally, the Presidency of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD). On this seat, Paris and Berlin diverge, to the despair of many Europeans. French side, the absence this Monday night at the Eurogroup of finance minister – Baroin, outgoing holder of the portfolio, did not go to it – will add to the inertia.

The lake has almost caught fire Thursday in Zurich. The traditional meeting of the shareholders of UBS has turned into a quiet but determined fight. The shareholders of the largest financial institution Swiss have strongly criticized the remuneration policy of the group, before voting 36% against it.

Lengthy explanations of President Kaspar Villiger have done anything to calm the discontented. The welcome bonus of 2 million Swiss francs (1.66 million), booked his designated successor, former Bundesbank President Axel Weber, was singled out. After the trading loss of $ 2.2 billion last fall, bonuses for market operators and their representatives also shocked. The vote is only advisory, but Kaspar Villiger was assured that the bank "takes this result seriously."

Executive Officer of UBS expected to live a difficult meeting. After four years of crisis, which results in the lowest equity valuations, bank shareholders, the U.S. and Europe are growing impatient. Everywhere, the remuneration is in sight. And for the first time, the challenge of these salaries and bonuses to seven figures than the man in the street. Driven by consulting firms or foundations, as Ethos and Actares Switzerland, institutional shareholders, insurers and large pension funds amounted to turn the tone against these huge salaries.

Last week, Credit Suisse, 31.6% of shareholders voted against the plan and executive compensation. Only 23% opposed it a year earlier. Meanwhile, the wage paid to Brady Dougan, the chief American institution, had been halved, 5.8 million Swiss francs (4.8 million) in 2011 against 12.8 million a year earlier. Over the same period, the share value has fallen by 41%. The same day, at the Royal Festival Hall in London, Barclays faced a protest vote by 26.9%, still on the part of remuneration guaranteed pay day loans.

Opposition all the more remarkable that management hoped to have cleared the situation by announcing a week before the general meeting that the executive directors and financial, Bob Diamond and Chris Lucas, would submit half of their 2011 bonuses to performance targets . Originally, Bob Diamond would receive 17.7 million pounds (nearly 22 million euros). The bank chairman, Marcus Agius, has "apologized (to shareholders) and promised that we will move differently in the future."

No vote in France

At the Citigroup, the reaction was even more severe: 55% of shareholders refused to pay $ 15 million promised to the Director, Vikram Pandit, after two years paid a salary by a dollar. This vote was, once again, not binding, the subjects of remuneration remain the prerogative of the board. But the impact in terms of image is of course considerable. Executive Officer of Citigroup has promised to "take seriously the shareholder vote and to consider carefully their remarks."

These votes on compensation plans have gradually imposed from Britain to all OECD countries. Only France is still resistance. "While employers have everything to gain by legitimizing their remuneration, French companies are now the only ones in Europe not to submit payments of their leaders to a general vote of the shareholders," said Pierre-Henri Leroy and President Proxinvest, the French agency governance analysis. The subject was asked in the presidential campaign. Nicolas Sarkozy has declared in favor of a shareholder vote on pay. Francois Hollande has not explicitly expressed on the subject.

It is a paradox. Michel Combes, the current CEO of Vodafone Europe will become CEO of SFR and board member of Vivendi from August 1, 2012. Jean-Bernard Lévy, Vivendi's chief executive who assumed the interim of Frank Esser arrived in late March, has finally chosen the man who best knows the file. And for good reason! It is precisely Michel Combes, who just last year, sold at high prices to the 44% Vivendi Vodafone's shareholding in SFR. Since 2008 and became head of European operations of British mobile giant, Michel Combes was also a director of SFR. He proceeded to examine every angle SFR.

Shortly after the departure of Frank Esser, Vivendi launched a search to find a replacement. And soon the name of Michel Combes has surfaced. It is a great French telecom specialist for the financial director of France Telecom in 2003 before becoming the right arm of Didier Lombard until 2006. But it is also a leader who has acquired an international dimension to the head of Vodafone Europe since 2008 low fee pay day loans. Meanwhile, the X Telecom 50 years, known for his enthusiasm and hyperactivity, led TDF, the technical broadcaster of television and radio and wireless mobile telecom. His brief tenure as head of TDF was marked by the construction of an ambitious business model that attracted the new shareholders of TDF, the TPG, Axa Private Equity and the CDC.

At the head of SFR, Michel Combes will have to implement the plan to win back customers attracted by offers Free Mobile. It will also improve profitability of the mobile operator heavily affected by the general decline in package prices. In 2012 and 2013, the EBITDA of SFR should decline by 15%. A challenge for Vivendi, who paid € 8 billion to acquire the entire share capital of SFR few months before the arrival of Free Mobile market. The destruction of value for Vivendi would be valued at nearly $ 2 billion.

Cards, Vitale, SIM for mobile phones, biometric passports, Navigo … The smart card, created by Roland Moreno, resulted in a multitude of high-tech objects indispensable in our daily lives. Amateur science fiction, self-taught, this French born in Cairo in 1945 and died Sunday in Paris had the idea to invent a portable device to store information. He had filed the first patent of the smart card in 1974 and it took him eight years to convince bankers, RATP and other industrial utility of his invention.

A small fortune

But his perseverance has won the chip has become a social phenomenon on a global scale. And Roland Moreno has made a small fortune. "Before the patent of the smart card does not fall into the public domain in 1998, it brought me close to 150 million euros faxless cash advances. Since I saw through the excess cash, "he explained in 2007 the newspaper La Croix.

The inventor has sold ten years ago its shares in Gemplus, a French manufacturer of smart cards. But he remained at the head of his company Innovatron, which continues to collect fees on contactless cards as Vélib 'or Navigo. A method based on radio transmission of data qu'Innovatron was developed in 1994 with the RATP.

Passionate about new technologies, Roland Moreno worked in parallel, to launch a poker site online. He was also busy writing the second volume of the ambient theory brothel, a book which is against the "tyranny of the original in the field of art."

LE FIGARO. – The Netherlands seems to suddenly become Eurosceptics. Why?

Luuk van Middelaar. – In reality, they have always been skeptical about some aspects of the European Union. The Netherlands were among the six founding countries, but their motivation was primarily economic, unlike France, which favored the political dimension. The Dutch have always fought for measures that represent an economic interest, such as the European patent. Then the country became a net contributor to EU budget around 2000, which is not conducive to enthusiasm! As for the current debate over the stability pact, we must not underestimate the impact of the crisis of 2003, when Paris and Berlin have violated common rules: it has reinforced the inferiority syndrome of small countries.

Failure in the referendum on the constitution has he not been exceeded?

France and the Netherlands voted no, but for very different reasons. The French were especially opposed to Europe "neoliberal" characterized by the Bolkestein directive on services, named after the Dutch commissioner … In the Netherlands, by contrast, we did not want an "other" Europe, but "less" Europe, if at all! The Dutch were not opposed to a political Europe.

The debate on the return to national currencies is more violent than elsewhere in the Netherlands. Why?

In the Netherlands, the euro has always inspired mistrust. These fears are now confirmed by the mismanagement of other member countries. Dutch MPs debated the creation of two variants of the euro, the "neuro" for the North and the "Zeuro" for the South. But this debate has remained economically, while the euro has a geopolitical origin: it is a concession of the Germans at the time of reunification.

"The year 2012? It will be for managers of private two-tier one year, with a side business confident in their investment and hiring, and the other companies in the uncertainty and lack of visibility on their backlog. I think this is true for regions: some are well oriented, others display recruitment forecasts downward, "says Pierre Lamblin, Director of Studies of Apec. According to the Association for the employment of executives, three regions are traditionally large purveyors of jobs: the Ile-de-France, Rhône-Alpes and Provence-Alpes-Cote d'Azur (PACA), with 45% of GDP and over half of employment in the private sector framework.

Occupational mobility

This year, the Paris Region companies provide hiring 67,900 to 87,800 frames. "Although the Ile-de-France is a region of opportunities, we note that some executives to leave the better quality of life from 35-40 years. Conversely, applying the Paris region makes sense for executives in the provinces, for example after a hiccup or when the ambitions of growth are not up to par, "said Didier Gaillard, CEO of the firm Expectra. A study by Trendeo on employment in the territories has also established that the Ile-de-France, between 2009 and 2011, has a balance of negative job creation of over 7,000 positions, while Aquitaine shows a positive net balance of 12,340 positions.

In Rhone-Alpes, hiring forecasts recorded by Apec range between 16,600 and 19,900 jobs. Assets of the region? Two strong economic centers around Lyon and Grenoble, a structure of skilled jobs and a good balance between industry and services, type of activity and company size, which smoothes the effects of any economic downturns. "There's always a nice dynamic in sectors such as IT, where even we suffer from a shortage of candidates with hard to fill a good half of the jobs entrusted to us. Rhone-Alpes region is however that manages to attract candidates from other geographical origins, "says Jerome Lieutier, regional head of Expectra. With 61% of executives recently installed, the region is one that seems to attract as many newcomers to the Southwest (57%) and Southeast (59%) says a recent study by Michael Page on the situation frames into regions. In the same study, two thirds of executives surveyed nationally had changed region at their last job transfers.

For Paca, the situation appears more mixed. Companies counting on 11,100 to 14,200 recruits executives, representing an increase from – 10% to 15% depending on the scenario compared to the previous year, according to figures from Apec. Regional Sales Manager for the firm Kobaltt, which operates in the business accounting finance, engineering and IT and telecoms, Gregory Blazquez confirms: "In our business, Paca has declined since the end of last year . "

9000 industrial jobs in Midi-Pyrenees

Although relying on smaller volumes of recruitment, other regions have their own in the game This is the case of the Auvergne, driven by the dynamism of Michelin, or Midi-Pyrenees, which displays recruitment needs in the industry (including Aeronautics) of 9000 new employees in the next two years.

Regional Manager for the Western region Expectra, Isabelle Rivard also recalls that the Brittany and Pays de la Loire together with sectors such as aerospace, shipbuilding, biotherapy, or IT and telecoms: "In this last sector, we face a real shortage of candidates, which has always existed, but was strengthened. "The West wins the prize for satisfaction with 94% of managers satisfied with the region in which they work, according to study of Michael Page on frameworks in regions.

Google, Apple, Amazon and Facebook have better watch out. The French presidential candidates are determined to stop tax evasion which these American giants of the Internet are guilty by repatriating their revenues in France to countries like Ireland or Luxembourg, where tax companies is softer.

In their profession of faith addressed to the Digital Collective of digital players, Nicolas Sarkozy as Francois Hollande promised to introduce fiscal measures to impose American groups as their French competitors in the Hexagon. "We will favor the European way (…) but we also work with a national solution," said the Socialist candidate as well. Specifically, it is to negotiate the "establishment virtual stable" at European level even with the OECD and to use the short term, to "complete business cycle" that can be considered as localized in France transactions of a company headquarters abroad. Both solutions also contained in the program menu of digital Nicolas Sarkozy, who wants "a fair taxation system in France and Europe." These tools would produce more revenue than the proposed "Google tax" championed by Senator Philippe Marini UMP, limited him to online advertising revenues.

Subscribe guarantee legal protection

Guarantee legal protection applies when the insured is pursuing a third justice, but also when it is itself continued. It allows the insured to avoid having to pay the legal costs in case of procedure following a dispute automobile. Legal costs are often higher, supported by their guarantee legal protection may therefore be useful.

Guarantee legal protection can exist in two forms:

Directly-enrolled in the auto insurance policy it refers only to disputes cars (against another driver, a mechanic, …)

-Outside the proposed auto insurance policy, it can be extended to fields larger than the only automotive world.

The warranty coverage legal protection

The warranty coverage can prevent legal protection proceedings in justices (through a mediation phase) and, where appropriate, to ensure their support. Thus, the guarantee allows the insured to receive legal advice provided by professionals.

In case of trial, she supports legal costs: legal fees, court fees and expert fees. In most cases, the guarantee legal protection is still subject to a ceiling as well as a threshold of support. These elements must be clearly presented in the contract signed by the insured.

Namely: the guarantee legal protection also covers dependents of the subscriber.

If the insured has to defend himself or wants to act against someone in court, he must contact his insurance company to obtain approval of management. Then, the insured is free to choose the lawyer who will defend its interests at trial. The fees of the latter are set in agreement with the insured.

Most insurers also offer their policyholders a formal relationship with their network of lawyers. For individuals who are not lawyers, it is often simpler!

Note: the guarantee legal protection does not indemnify the third party. If the insured is ordered to pay compensation, the latter are not supported.

Very offensive, Eric Leclerc, head of site leparisien.fr, stated flatly: "In 2007 we were in cabbages, with 300,000 unique visitors per month. Today we have peaks at 5.6 million. ".

National information site highly leveraged local info, leparisien.fr is a special case. 74% of its visitors live outside the Ile-de-France. It is therefore the first and by far, in attendance among the sites of the regional daily press, with 38 million total visits, according to OJD. "Our strength is responsiveness, explains Eric Leclerc. Once an event of national scope is identified, it sends reporters then fed into the site every minute. "

The Battle of the hearing, everyone is set. In the footsteps of their fellow Ile, sites in regions learn to boost their traffic, high growth in recent years. Ouestfrance.fr, which generates 45% of its traffic outside its coverage area, also focusing on the hot news, the "breaking news" and the video. The hearing ladepeche.fr out of the Midi-Pyrenees region reached 36%.

The events taking place in regions which detonate hearings fast payday loans. Thus, the case Merah ladepeche.fr allowed to reach over 12 million visits, as many as ouestfrance.fr. And the day after the election of Miss France in Brest, on December 4, the hearing on letelegramme.com reached 290,000 visits.

More services

The next battle is the pay info. Ladepeche.fr is not the only site to clear this minefield. "We do not expect to be profitable to invest," said Fabien Charmetant letelegramme.com support the site, which, as lavoixdunord.fr, began to form bases of loyal readers online and then look to monetize content.

The big question is which. If free access to information is an unavoidable, media groups know that the information value-added will have a future where users have been réhabitués to pay. In the short term, the safest path is to create more services, that, by their proximity to natural, local newspapers are able to do. Even if they have to relearn this role in a highly fluid technological environment.

For tender in giant offshore wind, it's time for final arbitration. After a series of exchanges non-stop for 48 hours at the top of the state, the verdict is very close and although nothing has yet been formalized, EDF would be the big winner. The electrician tricolor should be assigned by the government three fields respectively in Saint-Nazaire (Loire-Atlantique), Fécamp (Seine-Maritime) and Courseulles-sur-Mer (Calvados).

A total of five fields within the scope of this tender, but the allocation of the remaining two sites – in Saint-Brieuc (Côtes d'Armor) and Tréport (Seine-Maritime) – could be called a later date. The schedule is not known but "a period of discussions should be reopened," does one advance in the entourage of the file no fax payday loans. Some background information might be reconsidered, particularly affecting the price of electricity.

If this scenario occurs, EDF would therefore gain all of the fields for which the government has decided. It would be a victory for the utility but for its main partner, Alstom, which would be commissioned to build and assemble the wind turbines. Two weeks ago, the industry group presented in Saint-Nazaire the prototype of his machine: it has a capacity of 6 megawatts (MW), making it the most powerful wind turbine market.
